This guide shows how to fully turn off your Meta Quest 2. When your headset is turned off, it drains less battery than sleep mode and prepares it for repairs.

Step 1

Hold the power button for three seconds to fully turn off your headset.
You'll hear a power down chime, and the LED next to the power button will turn off.
