Fresh Chip Off The Block
Hiya, I'm Leaf. I'm a freshman at UNT majoring in CS who loves tinkering and taking things apart. I've joined iFixIt for my technical writing class and I'm new to the platform.
What I Do
- Attend UNT (duh)
- Code, I do so much coding
- 3d model whatever amuses me
- Smith when I have time, especially over the summer
- Play way to many video games
- Take things apart
- And figure out how things work
About Me And My Hobbies
I love coding. It's what I'm going to college for and it's what I want to do with my life. I enjoy python and java and if needed I can cobble together some code in Lua (which is such an awful language I hate it so much, but at least its not c++). Even though I've been coding since 5th grade, I am still on the prowl for new coding information, especially how things work.
From melting down and refining metal cans to bending metal to my will, I have been a hobby smith for the past couple years. It started with melting down cans to learning how to refine them. After that I started casting and pouring molds from 3d models that I would make in blender.
I enjoy making things. 3d modeling, coding, and smithing are great outlets for my creativity to shine.
