Hello! My name is Willow.
I'm a second-year at UC Davis studying Sustainable Environmental Design. I am passionate about creating sustainable solutions to prevalent issues in societies––especially those relating to community spaces, mental health, community well-being, and education. I would like to create spaces for communities to come together in, to feel safe in, and to be supported in. Green spaces in urban areas are incredibly important to community well-being, so I am also interested in researching and creating these spaces. Ultimately, I hope to better our understanding of what makes a happy society as well as develop and establish these solutions.
In my free time, I enjoy creating through photography, doodling and sketching, cooking, videography, building/interior design, and creative writing. I also spend a lot of time exploring on walks (especially with a camera), reading (speculative and realistic fiction particularly), and listening to music (recently reggae and folk). RPGs like Horizon Zero Dawn and Sky: Children of the Light are some of my favorites for their visual storytelling.
I'm a part of Aggie Studios, a student-run videography and photography media team. I have done a few shoots with them as both a videographer and photographer covering everything from cultural events to student life specials.
