This garlic shrimp scampi recipe is adapted from the YouTube channel Tasty.[1]
Ingredients
- 225 g (8 oz) spaghetti
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 450 g (1 lb) shrimp
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 teaspoon red chile flakes
- ¼ cup (25 g / 1 oz) chopped parsley
Procedure
- Boil the spaghetti in water until al dente.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and stir.
- Add the shrimp and cook for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink-red in color.
- Season with salt and pepper, then stir in lemon juice, chili, and parsley.
- Drain the pasta in a colander and stir into the pan of shrimp.
- Divide the pasta between 4 plates and serve.
