GCE Advanced Level
Books in this subject area deal with the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (commonly referred to as an A-Level): a qualification offered by education institutions in England, Northern Ireland and Wales and by a small minority of institutions, typically private, in Scotland. A-levels are also taken in Commonwealth countries and British Overseas Territories. Due to respective changes in the systems, these examinations differ both in terms of content and style from the A-levels taken in the United Kingdom.
