2026 Louisville mayoral election

The 2026 Louisville mayoral election will be held on November 3, 2026. The primary election will be held on May 19, with the top two candidates advancing to the general election.
Incumbent mayor Craig Greenberg, who was elected in 2022, is running for reelection. Following a 2024 change in the election law by the Kentucky General Assembly, this will be the first nonpartisan mayoral election in Louisville; Greenberg is a member of the Democratic Party.[1]
