Ahmad Mohammadizadeh is an Iranian politician and military officer who has served as the Governor of Bushehr Province since 22 September 2021.[1] He was a former deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy and has been involved in both provincial governance and infrastructure projects, including developments at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.[2]

Career

Mohammadizadeh was born in Bushehr Province and began his career in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), rising to the position of deputy commander of the IRGC Navy.[1]

In September 2021, he was appointed Governor of Bushehr Province by President Ebrahim Raisi as part of a broader trend of IRGC veterans entering provincial leadership positions.[3]
