Provisions

The legislation requires that parents and guardians opt-in to allow sex education to be provided to their children, including all educaiton relating to gender identity, sexual orientation or sexuality.[1] Under the legislation, teachers would have to allow for 30 days to respond to a notification that there would be material on these topics.[2]

Third party resources and speakers would have to be vetted by the provincial government.[2]
