Fiona Buttigieg (nÊe Constable; born 18 July 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Luton Town Ladies and the Malta women's national team.

Club career

Luton Town Ladies

After beginning her career at Aylesford F.C. Ladies, Buttigieg joined Luton Town Ladies following a successful trial period in the summer of 2021.[2] In her second season with the club, she helped the club win the Bedfordshire FA Women's County Cup and the Eastern Region League Cup. In 2024-25, Buttigieg and Luton Town won the Eastern Region Women's Football League Premier Division and the League Cup - gaining promotion to the fourth tier.

International career

Buttigieg was first called up to the Malta women's national football team in February 2025 [3] for the island nation's 2025 UEFA Women's Nations League fixtures against Cyprus and Andorra. Buttigieg made her debut for Malta as a second-half substitute in the 2–1 defeat against Cyprus, and started the following game against Andorra.
