Here for It All is the upcoming sixteenth studio album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. The album is set to be released on September 26, 2025 through her own imprint Mariah, and a media company Gamma. Its first single "Type Dangerous", was released on June 6, 2025, followed by "Sugar Sweet" on July 25.
Background and release
In June 2025, Carey revealed that her sixteenth studio album was finished, which would mark her first studio album following Caution (2018) and various anniversary special editions. She noted that the record would reflect her personal journey particularly over the past decade, and include elements drawn from her life as a mother to her 14-year-old twins. Carey described it as "summer-y", and detailed that it would have either 11 or 12 songs and hinted at its contents saying, "We got some Mariah ballads".[1]
On July 20, 2025, she released a 37-second montage on her social media platforms celebrating her discography, counting from her self-titled debut album to Caution.[2] A day later, Carey revealed the album artwork the same day through a short teaser video in which she appears strutting in spike heels before singing a snippet of the album's title track.[3] The album is set for release through Gamma on September 26, 2025.[4][5] It will also mark her third album with L.A. Reid serving as an official executive producer.[6] Aside from Shenseea and Kehlani, who feature on the song "Sugar Sweet", Here for It All also features a duet with Anderson .Paak. The title song is the final song on the track listing.[7]
Singles
In early June 2025, Carey began to tease the lead single for her upcoming album.[8] The single, "Type Dangerous" was released on June 6, 2025 alongside a music video directed by Joseph Kahn which premiered a week later.[9][10][11] The song debuted at number 95 on the US Billboard Hot 100 marking Carey's 50th entry on the chart.[12] Four remixes of the song were released including features from Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Big Sean, DJ Snake, and Luísa Sonza.[13] Carey performed the song for the first time at the 2025 BET Awards and later at Capital's Summertime Ball on June 15, 2025.[14]
On July 21, 2025, Carey teased a second single titled "Sugar Sweet" which is also expected to appear on the album.[15][16][1][17] "Sugar Sweet" was released on July 25, 2025.[18]
