Irina Sergeyevna Kuznetsova (Russian: Ирина Сергеевна Кузнецова, born 5 December 2000) is a Kazakh freestyle wrestler. She is a bronze medalist at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games and the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships. She also won a silver medal at the 2023 World Military Wrestling Championships.

Career

In 2021, Kuznetsova finished 4th in the 62 kg category at the Asian Wrestling Championships. She represented Kazakhstan at the 2022 Asian Games (held in 2023), placing fifth in her event.

She placed 12th at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade.[1]

She won a silver medal at the 2023 World Military Wrestling Championships in Baku and a bronze medal at the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana.

At age-level events, Kuznetsova won gold at both the 2022 Asian U23 Wrestling Championships and 2023 Asian U23 Wrestling Championships in Bishkek. She was also a silver medalist at the 2019 Asian U23 Wrestling Championships in Ulaanbaatar. As a junior, she won the Asian title in 2018 and was a bronze medalist in 2019.[2][3]
