Mishar Yurt
Mishar Yurt (Tatar: Мишәр йорты, Mişär yortı, مىشەر يۇرتئ; Russian: Мещерский юрт, romanized: Meshcherskiy yurt;[1] lit. 'the home of Mişärs') was a semi-autonomous principality of the Golden Horde at the border of the principalities of Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan.
Tatars began to settle in the Mishar Yurt in the second half of the 13th century. The Kasim Khanate was established on this territory in 15th century.[2]
