Moshe Reuven Sheradsky (Hebrew: משה ראובן), known professionally as Moshe Reuven, is an American rabbi, musician, entrepreneur and public speaker.

Early life

Sheradsky was born and raised in Florida.[1] In high school, he began making music with his friends and recorded his first songs with Mr. Cheeks’s former producer, Hayden.[2] It was during his later years in high school and the beginning of college, at The University of Central Florida, that Sheradsky began to seek a more spiritual path,[3] delving more deeply into Orthodox Judaism.[4][5] Throughout his late teens and college years, Sheradsky began devoting time daily to prayer and Torah study.[6][7] He studied under from various rabbis.[8] Eventually, Sheradsky received his rabbinic ordination at the Rabbinical College of America in 2021, after spending multiple years studying in various yeshivas in America and Israel.[9]

Career

In 2017, Sheradsky began writing on topics of startups, business, spirituality,[10] Torah, chassidus[11] in various publications such as, Thrive Global, Huffpost,[12][13] Forbes,[14] & Entrepreneur.[15] In 2018 Sheradsky joined the Forbes Technology Council.[16]

In 2020, Sheradsky released his debut single, "You Are Not Alone".[17][18] The song was aimed at helping those dealing with issues during the COVID-19 pandemic.[19][20] Over a year after its release, the song became a Billboard-certified single as part of a compilation that reached No. 22 on the Billboard charts for digital album sales.[21][22] In 2021, he signed with Create Music Group.[7][23]

In 2022, Sheradsky released the song "Say" with Julian Marley. Rolling Stone India included Sheradsky in their Global Artist Spotlight, highlighting the song.[1] Sheradsky and Marley performed together in Florida for the first time in mid-December.[24] In the same year, Sheradsky was included in the Forbes Monaco's 30 Under 30 list.[25] In 2023, he additionally became a member of the Recording Academy.[26] During Chanukah of 2023,[27] he headlined The Largest Menorah Lighting Concert, in Brooklyn, New York.[28]

In 2024 at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards, Reuven wore a 'Never Again Means Now' shirt in an act of solidarity with Israel[29][30] and a stance against antisemitism.[31][32] On March 22, 2024, Sheradsky reached #1 on the Israel music charts.[33]
