Patushay (پوتشے), alternatively known as Potshai, is a subarea within the consolidated community of Qazipora Patushi in the Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Situated 4 km from Bandipora town and 59 km from Srinagar, the name "Patushay" derives from the Kashmiri words "Poàt" (antiquity) and "Shay" (historical site).[9]

The village sits at an elevation of 1,590 meters (5,216 feet) above sea level, with a temperate climate characterized by warm summers (average 23.3°C) and cold winters (average 3.2°C).[10]

According to the 2011 census of India, Patushay has:
