Punjwarian (Urdu: پنجوڑیاں) is a village of Kharian city, in Gujrat District of Pakistan's Punjab province. The village is located[1] near Kharian Cantonment and about 12 km from the main Kharian city. The villagers mainly belong to the Awan tribe.
Language
As per the 1998 census, Punjabi is the main language of 94% of the Punjwarian population. Urdu, the national language, is spoken widely while English is spoken by educated elite.
