Sterdyń [ˈstɛrdɨɲ] is a village in Sokołów County, Masovian Voivodeship, in eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Sterdyń.[1] It lies approximately 18 km (11 mi) north of Sokołów Podlaski and 96 km (60 mi) north-east of Warsaw.
History

It was a private town, administratively located in the Drohiczyn County in the Podlaskie Voivodeship in the Lesser Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.[2]
