Young Muslims (YM) is an Islamic North American grassroots youth 501(c)(3) organization.^[1][2] It is the youth division of the Islamic Circle of North America.^[3] It establishes a well organized network of local youth groups "NeighborNets"^[4] to build a solid understanding of Islam, promote brotherhood, and promote the Islamic way of life among American Muslims. It has two parallel wings, YM Brothers and YM Sisters,^[5][6] which function together at the Statewide and National Level, but host events independently at a Local Level.^[7][8]

YM was founded in 1995. They frequently work with the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA),^[9] and Muslim Students' Association (MSA). They consistently hold thousands of members, with estimated tens of thousands of weekly attendees nationwide.

YM maintains a nationwide network of local chapters known as NeighborNets (literally "network of neighbors"). These are broken up into Regions: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West, and Texas. Each region is broken up into Subregions, which then operate local chapters underneath. Each NeighborNet is a self‑governing youth group, operating in coordination under the Subregion, typically composed of Muslim teenagers and young adults between the ages of 13 and 25, that meets weekly to foster religious education, and social bonding through events, and halaqas. As well as hosting Subregion wide events and retreats.^[10] Although many NeighborNets are affiliated with local mosques, membership is open to any Muslim youth, or those seeking knowledge of Islam, and gatherings may be held at whatever venue best supports the group's development.
