Youssef Mehri (Arabic: يوسف ميهري; born 7 September 1999) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays forward for RS Berkane.

Club career

Born in Marrakech, Mehri began his football career with KAC Marrakech, making his professional debut in the Moroccan Botola 2 in 2019.

On 21 January 2022, he signed a two-year contract with Hassania Agadir for a reported fee of €67,000. He made his debut on 12 February against Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi, starting the match which ended in a 0–0 draw. On 23 February, he scored his first goal for the club in a 2–0 away victory over Wydad AC. On 25 June, he scored twice from the penalty spot in a 3–2 loss to Raja CA.

On 28 July 2023, Mehri joined RS Berkane under head coach Amine El Karma.[1] He made his debut on 27 August, coming on as a substitute in the 69th minute in a 2–0 win over MC Oujda. On 20 September, he scored his first goals for the club, netting a brace in a 3–1 victory against Union Touarga.

In continental competition, he finished as runner-up in the 2023–24 CAF Confederation Cup after losing the final to Zamalek SC.[2]

International career

In December 2022, Mehri was called up by coach Houcine Ammouta to participate in preparations for the 2022 African Nations Championship in Algeria. In a friendly against Senegal A', he scored the only goal of the match in the 38th minute to secure a win for Morocco.[3] However, he was not included in the final tournament squad.[4]
