Bleach (anime)

Bleach (Japanese: ブリーチ) is a Japanese anime series based on Tite Kubo's manga of the same name. It follows a teenager who obtains the powers of a Soul Reaper and defends humans from evil Hollows. Bleach was produced by Studio Pierrot and directed by Noriyuki Abe.

Rukia: [in the darkness on a pole and a bleach background music plays and she jumps of the pole]

Ichigo: There. That ought to keep those punks from showing their ugly faces around here. Sorry about all that. I'll bring you by some new flowers tomorrow.

Ghost girl: Thank you for coming to my defense. I think now finally I'll finally be able to rest peacefully.

Ichigo: It's the least I could do. After all, you deserve to rest in peace.

Ichigo: I'm home- OW!

Isshin: You let your guard down! Always stay alert when you enter a room, and you're late for dinner again.

Ichigo: Come on! Is that any way to welcome your own son after he just risked his life to help a spirit find peace?!

Rukia: [dramatically] Hear my voice, oh Lord! Help your humble child understand why she was born! And if your divine will wishes it, summon her back to your side. I await your–

Ichigo: GEEZ! WOULD YOU SHUT UP ALREADY?!

Rukia: What is your problem? I am studying contemporary language.

Ichigo: You're off by a couple centuries.

Ichigo: That jerk used my body to take advantage of Orihime and Tatsuki and then he k-k-ki–

Rukia: He kissed them. Yes, I know.

Ichigo: This sucks! Don't say that! My life is over!

Urahara: Don't use others as a reason for walking straight into death's arms.

Ichigo: [to Renji] Sorry to keep you waiting. I found my resolve. This time I will get you.

Ichigo: I want... to win. Fighting for its own sake is meaningless. Survival in itself is meaningless. I want to win!

Uryu: I'm sorry master. I still don't understand my father's feelings and I still don't know what it is that I truly want to protect. But that which could not ever be forgiven, I think I do know that one. I'm sorry master. I'm afraid once more I must disobey you. [removes the Sanrei Glove]

Rukia: Captain, Kaien has been disarmed. We have to help him!

Ukitake: But if we were to step in now, what would become of Kaien's pride? Even if by going to his aid you were somehow successful in saving his life, the cost of such an act would certainly be the death of his pride forever.

Rukia: That doesn't make any sense at all, Captain! What good is pride to a man if he's dead!?

Rukia: [her life flashing before her eyes] I am not afraid. I have lived a good life. I was blessed by meeting Renji and all the others, by brother Byakuya's adoption, by the guidance of Kaien, then finally by Ichigo's attempt to rescue me. This is not suffering. This is not pain. I have no regrets. My heart leaves nothing behind. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Farewell.

Renji: Explain something to me.

Rukia: What?

Renji: Well, one time... Ichigo told me that he owed you a favor.

Rukia: He owes a favor... to me?

Renji: Uh huh.

[flashback]

Ichigo: You know... Rukia actually saved my life in a way. She changed my destiny... that much is true. If I hadn't met Rukia, I never would have become a Soul Reaper. The ability I have to fight the way I do, and to be able to protect everyone... I owe her.

[end flashback]

Renji: Why are you blaming yourself for everything? It's pointless. You've always been like that. No one else thinks this is all your fault, so why don't you quit being so hard on yourself? No one person can be strong enough to carry all of that responsibility on their shoulders.

Ichigo: [using his Bankai to surprise Byakuya] You want to talk about pride? Your so-called honor demands that you kill Rukia. Takes a lot of honor to kill your own sister, doesn't it? Well if that's the kind of pride you're talking about, you can bet your ass I'm going to mess with it. That's the reason I got this power. Your stupid pride!

[Ichigo uses his Bankai to deflect every single blade at super speed]

Byakuya: Impossible! He sliced through all of them.

Ichigo: [flash steps behind him] A miracle only happens once, huh? So what do you call this?

Aizen: Admiration is the state furthest away from understanding.

Aizen: You're blinded by your self righteousness. From the beginning no one has ever stood at the top. Neither you nor me nor the gods. But soon that unattainable vacancy at the top will be filled. From now on, I alone will stand at the top.

Ichigo Kurosaki: Become strong not just for your own sake, but for your friends.

Ichigo Kurosaki: You wanted revenge? You're just making other people as miserable as you.
