Clarence Monroe Bookman

Clarence Monroe Bookman (1882 - 1963) was known as a leader in social welfare in and out of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was the Executive Secretary for Community Chest and Council of Social Agencies, Cincinnati; which eventually became United Way, as well as its predecessor organization. He was an educator. He also worked in United States federal government service in more than one administration.
