Magnus Hirschfeld

Soon the day will come when science will win victory over error, justice a victory over injustice, and human love a victory over human hatred and ignorance.

Magnus Hirschfeld (14 May 1868 – 14 May 1935) was a German physician, sexologist and LGBTQ advocate. Hirschfeld found the Institut für Sexualwissenschaft, which researched homosexuality and transgender healthcare, before it was destroyed by the Nazis.
