- Frances McDormand: Yes, can I help you?
- Big Bird: I hope so, my friend is lost.
- Frances McDormand: Oh, your friend is lost. Well, sure I can help you, I work here. I help fine people who are lost all the time we go right over there.
- Big Bird: Okay (Big Bird hits the rubber ball display and falls into the floor).
- Frances McDormand: Oh, no!
- ABCD Mart In-Store Voiceover: Clean up in Aisle 2, we need to clean in Aisle 2!
- Frances McDormand: Did you ever have one of those days? Okay, let me just get some info. Your name is?
- Big Bird: Uh... Big Bird.
- Frances McDormand: First name: Big. Last name: Bird. And the name of the person who you were shopping with?
- Big Bird: Maria Rodriguez.
- Frances McDormand: Ah, Maria Rodriguez, very good.
- Big Bird: She was wearing a colorful jacket.
- Frances McDormand: Aha, colorful jacket, very, very all right, good.
- Big Bird: In orange.
- Frances: And the number of a close relative who is at home?

- Frances McDormand: (clears throat) Okay, congratulations, Big Bird! I think that we have all the information we need and I'm sure that Maria is looking for you to we'll find her in no time. All right, then. Attention, ABCD Mart shoppers. Attention, ABCD Mart shoppers. Will Maria Rodriguez report to the customer service desk immediately?
- Maria Rodriguez: They found him! They found Big Bird!
[segment cuts to Captain Elmo Cousteau searching for the treasure of the missing soap. He encounters a policeman fishy, who shows him the way to the treasure and back home.]
- Big Bird: Oh. Where is Maria?
- Frances McDormand: She, she should have been here by now. Maybe she didn't hear the announcement.
- Big Bird: Yeah or maybe, maybe she's really, really lost! Maybe I'm never ever gonna see her again! Oh, Maria! Oh.
- Maria Rodriguez: Ooh. I'm sorry. I would have gotten here sooner, but there's a bunch of rubber balls all over the floor blocking the aisle-
- Frances McDormand: And you are?
- Maria Rodriguez: I'm Maria Rodriguez and I believe you found a large, yellow bird?
- Big Bird: Maria? Maria!
- Maria Rodriguez: Oh, Big Bird!
- Big Bird: Maria. Oh, Maria!
- Maria Rodriguez: Oh, Big Bird.
- Big Bird: What happened? Where were you?
- Maria Rodriguez: Big Bird, I'm so relieved to see you. Thank goodness you're all right. Big Bird, I am so glad you remembered what to do when you got lost.
- Big Bird: Me lost? Huh! I thought it was you who's lost.
- Maria Rodriguez: Me? Big Bird, let's get our stuff and get out of here. We got a skating party to go to.
- Big Bird: All, right. Yes, yes. Uh, thanks.
- Frances McDormand: Bye!
- Big Bird: Bye!
- Maria Rodriguez: Ooh! You really should find someplace to stack those balls. Somebody could trip.
- Frances McDormand: (grunts)

- Jon Stewart: David, we can't get out! The door's stuck!
- David Alan Grier: What? Well, where's the handyman I sent in?
- Jon Stewart: [seeing the handyman shake the oil can] In here with the rest of the crew.
- Telly: Oh, no! If they can't get out, that means there's no show. And if there's no show, then all those people who wanted to hear the music will be sad. And if all those people are sad, they might not go to work tomorrow! And if they don't go to work tomorrow, the economy will collapse! And if the economy collapses, THE COUNTRY... WILL BE... DOOMED!!! Doomed, I tell you! This is terrible!
- Elmo: [calming Telly down] Easy! Easy! Easy! Easy, Telly. It's just a TV show.
- David Alan Grier: [gasps in shock] Watch your mouth, little guy! Now, I'd expect that attitude over on cable, but this is network.
