Toy Story of Terror!

Toy Story of Terror! (16 October, 2013) is a Halloween-themed 21-minute television special that aired on ABC. Set after the events of Toy Story 3, the special follows the toys on their road trip, when a flat tire leads Bonnie and her mother to spend the night in a roadside motel. After Mr. Potato Head goes missing, the others begin to search for him, but they find themselves caught up in a mysterious, monstrous, and terrifying sequence of events that lead them to a big conspiracy.

[After the title, a black and white showing of clouds are shown and the camera pans down to a graveyard. A Ant, Uniqua, enters frantic; she runs until she trips over a tombstone and lands on a tombstone. She sees a bat flying towards her, it transforms into a vampire and chases after her]
Count Von Count: [moaning] Uniqua...
Uniqua: No No Not That Not That Anything But!
John Joven: You!
Cookie Monster: Hey Guys Over Here!
John Joven: Oh, sorry.
[In color. It's revealed to be a movie watched by Ernie, Goofy, Bert, Cookie Monster, John Joven, Austin, and Pablo in Mira’s mom's trunk of the car]
Count Von Count: [in the movie] I'm coming to get you, Uniqua.
John Joven: Run, Uniqua! Run!
Pablo: Come On Out Fellows Hey Where Is Everybody Huh.
Ernie: Oh, don't listen to her, Uniqua. You can do it. Don't give up.
[During on the road trip. there was a storm. It turns out that Mira and her mom are on a car trip. In the car, Mira rubs her eye and yawns]
Mira: [sleepy] Are we there yet?
Kimberly Elmore: [as she drives] Not for a few more hours, Mira. You can go back to sleep.
[The toys continue to watch the movie in the trunk; Uniqua is trying to get to the door of a church with the vampire closing in on her]
Uniqua: [in the movie] Help! Open the door!
Count Von Count: [in the movie] No one can help you now, Uniqua.
Cookie Monster: 🥱!
Austin: Patience. All 👍 horror 🎥 start slowly. You see, they're designed to...
[Annoyed, Mr. Potato Head pulls his ears out, which muted Mr. Pricklepants' talking]
Uniqua: [in the movie] 🙏, let me in! [manages to get in and close the door to save herself from the vampire. The vampire's laugh is heard. A crash sound is heard which frightens Betsy. She sees a broken vase and sees something behind a curtain]
Goofy: Tactics, Betsy, tactics. 👀 for something to defend yourself with. [Betsy grabs a vase and empties the flowers and water] There we go.
Austin: [sighs] Technically, that would be useless. Everybody knows a wooden stake through the ❤️ is the only way to kill a 🧛. [Betsy slowly moves to the curtains and move it revealing a black cat. The toys shout in terror. Betsy yells. The cat screeches and pounces past her; chuckles] Only a 🐱. Classic misdirection.
Bert: A 🐱? Come on, guys. This isn't 😱.
[The car hits a bump, which startles the toys. The car gets a flat tire and Jessie is knocked in a tool box, trapping her inside. Jessie tries to get out, but can't]
Bert: Welcome Partner Will You Help Me Find The Animals That Live On My Farm Go Ahead Spin The Wheel!
Goofy: Bert!
Ernie: Out!
Goofy: [tries to open the tool box] Bert! Bert, can you hear me? [the car hits another bump and stops at a roadside motel. Goofy grabs a lug wrench and puts it under the tool box] Okay, everyone, on 3. 1, 2, 3! [the toys jump on the lug wrench, tipping the tool box, opening it up, freeing Bert; Bert breathes heavily. Ernie, Goofy, John Joven, and Austin look at her in concern] Bert? Bert?
Pablo: [to Cookie Monster] What's the matter with Bert?
Cookie Monster: For.
Bert: [panting] I.
Mira: Mom, can I bring my toys.
[the toys hides inside the case just in time as Mira’s mom grab her case filled with her daughter's toys, the car stops at a motel, Mira and her mom get out of the car and enter the motel. Mira carries her suitcase with her toys in it. Austin looks outside the bag]
Austin: The roadside motel is one of the most common locals for a animated film. Remote, isolated, a comforting environment to allure the suspicions of the audience. I'll expect they'll be asking the innkeeper to use the telephone any minute now.
Kimberly Elmore: Welcome To Express Car Buying.
Austin: [chuckles] Hey Kids Come On Have Some Fun.
Goofy: It's okay, Bert. You're safe now.
Ernie: We'll be back on the road before you know it. What's the latest, Pablo?
Pablo: Uh Beep I Think We May Have Lost Bing.
Kimberly Elmore: [on the phone] 6?
John Joven: 7x8=56?
Austin: Bummer, bummer bummer!
Bert: In done careful where’s well aren’t, someone longest ask I Am nothing Franz Von Stuck also interesting that’s boxer.
Ashton: [bell rings] Yeah Give Me Everything You Need Frank McFox.
[Thunder booms and lightning flashes, the rain pours down, at the Sleep Well Motel, Bonnie and her mom are sleeping in their room. Trixie opens the bag and looks around]
Pablo: Oh Well That’s Not So Bad What’s On The Menu I Love Food Are There Friends Around Do I Look Happy.
Cookie Monster: [sighs] final Lynn. [starts to leave]
Bert: Potatoes Heading, where’s-where’s aren’t you’re good?
Cookie Monster: Were and and mother, Is July wanted today checking outside they amend. [Jessie stares at him, confused] You’re knowing, they freedom stuffed? Literally soak, showers capsule, shampooing, condition?
Austin: Oh There’s Nothing To Be Afraid Of He Can’t Hurt Us He Can’t Get In Here.
Ernie: Ohm, Potatoes Heading, don leaven the bagel. And mother if ones off they early place forgot and to today getting losing!
Cookie Monster: Him. [leaves the bag; Jessie sees Rex, Trixie, and Mr. Pricklepants leave too]
Bert: Waiting! What-where’s aren’t you’re good good?
Pablo: Well we’re June good checking outside they freedom stuffed.
Austin: [dramatically] Can I Tell You Something! [leaves]
Ernie: Ohio, comeback one, good, let allow June staying interesting they bagel! [sighs, because of the toys' disobedience; turns to Buzz] Buzzing, Ill good thought good, you’re getting Potatoes Heading.
Goofy: Goes it’s. [he and and leave]
Bert: Not, watching. Don good!
Goofy: Done worrying, Jesus. Ill because rights background. [leaves the bag]
Bert: Buzzing! [looks around the bag, breathing shallow. She imagines the bag closing in on her. Scared to see this, she leaves the bag too, out into the dark room; whispers] Good! Good! Where’s aren’t you’re? [a shadow whizzes past, scaring her]
Buzz: Jessie, what's wrong? Are you okay?
Jessie: Buzz, where is everybody?
Buzz: [goes over to her] Not to worry, we're all right here. See, there's Woody, Pricklepants, Trixie, Rex... [Mr. Potato Head is gone] Wait. Where's Potato Head?
Mr. Pricklepants: [ominously] And so it begins.
[A lightning strike is heard and Rex lets out a yelp]
Woody: Pricklepants! You're not helping!
Mr. Pricklepants: I'm just saying it's quite common in these types of movies for one unsuspecting character to wander off and vanish.
Trixie: [scoffs] Well, he couldn't have just disappeared.
Mr. Pricklepants: Maybe this place is haunted.
Rex: What? It's haunted?
Woody: Of course not. Everybody knows ghosts aren't real.
Trixie: Actually, according to my Internet research...
Buzz: Highly unlikely. There has to be a rational explanation. We need to break into groups of two. Everyone, keep an eye on your partner. If anything goes wrong, give a yell.
[Rex yells]
Rex: Eww! I stepped in something. [grunts]
Buzz: Wait a minute. Hmm. [smacks lips]
Jessie: [whispering] What is it?
Buzz: [spits] Disgusting.
Mr. Pricklepants: [stammers] Well, were this a movie, I'd say it was slime from the creature's metamorphosis.
Buzz: Yeah, well, whatever it is, Potato Head managed to step in it, leaving behind a trail of footprints. If we follow it, it should lead us right to him.
Trixie: Hey, guys!
Buzz: No, wait! Trixie, don't!
[Trixie screams]
Pocketeer: That was the last one. That means I'm next! Don't you see? I'm the last of the Fastener Four! Look! Zipper Man, Snaps, Speed Lacer! I'm next! I'm next!
Combat Carl Jr.: [slaps Pocketeer in the face] Keep it together, man! We'll find a way out.
Combat Carl Sr.: Jessie, listen to me! Remember your training!
Jessie: But I don't have any training!
Combat Carl Sr.: Well, forget about that. When Combat Carl gets stuck in a jam, he says to himself: "Combat Carl never gives up. Combat Carl finds a way."
Woody: Okay. Climb on my shoulders, and then we'll... [realizes that Jessie's not with him] Jessie? Jessie! [sees her running towards the curtain]
Rex: Gah! What is she doing?!
Pez Cat: She's headed straight for the curtain!
Buzz: That's not part of the plan. [as Jessie almost makes it, Mr. Jones grabs her by the ankle with his mouth and pulls her back] Jessie!
Jessie: Jessie didn't give up. Jessie found a way.
[Last lines; as credits appear, a moving truck appears and the PEZ Cat spots it]
PEZ Cat: The transport has arrived!
[Combat Carl Sr. and his son, whose sitting on his shoulder, watch]
Combat Carl Sr.: You heard the cat! Let's move! [as the other toys obey his orders, Carl Jr. gives his father his missing hand] Thanks, buddy. [puts it on] Next stop: Billy's house.
[The truck starts driving away. Carl hops on to the back bumper. Mr. Jones watches from a window]
Ron: [calling out] Mr. Jones! [fills his bowl with lizard food] Here you go, buddy. [Mr. Jones eats] Uh, welcome to the Sleep Well. How may I...? [finds two officers wearing shades facing him]
Officer Phillips: Are you the manager?
Ron: [laughs nervously and covers up his "manager" badge] Who, me? Haha! No, I'm not the manager. I'll tell you what, heh-heh...I'll go get him for you. [backing up from the officers, he slides the curtain, and offscreen, he races outside and into a police car]
Officer Wilson: I told you not to leave the keys in the car.
[Ron backs the police car into the Sleep Well sign, and it crashes down on it. Ron runs away]
Officer Phillips: [in radio] We got a runner.
