Type locality: Japan, Hounami, Kouchi, Geinou-cho, Age-gun (at present Tsu-shi), Mie Prefecture, Honshu.

Holotype: NSMT. male ♂. 20.IV.2001. legit K. Kumada. NSMT-Ar6984.
