- Holotype: MZUC 47720, adult ♀, collected by Luis Felipe Esqueda and Héctor García, on 21 June 2021.
- Type locality: “road that goes from Alto Tomón to Monte Carmelo, 9°12'42.32"N and 70°44'0.16"O, 1890 m, Trujillo state, Venezuela."
