Chiloglanis niloticus Boulenger, 1900
- Syntypes: BMNH 1907.12.2.1466-73 (8); MNHN 1907-0230 (1); MSNG 14420 (1).
Type locality: Arko Island [1], Sudan.
Etymology: The specific epithet niloticus, refers to the Nile river, the type locality of the species.
