- Holotype: CNU-HE-LB2009016PC (dorsoventrally compressed, part and counterpart), ♀.
- Type locality: Huangbanjigou, Chaomidian Village, Beipiao City, Liaoning Province, China. Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous, Yixian Formation.
- Etymology: This species is named in honor of Dr. Leyi Zheng (Institute of Entomology, College of Life Science, Nankai University, Tianjin, China) for his outstanding contribution to the study of Chinese Heteroptera.
