Cnemaspis scalpensis (Ferguson, 1877)
- Holotype: Unknown.
- Neotype: NMSL 20061101, adult ♂, collected by L.J. Mendis Wickramasinghe on 27 December 2003. [designated by Manamendra-Arachchi, Batuwita & Pethiyagoda (2007: 52)]
- Type locality: “mountains of Ceylon”, redesignated by neotype designation to “Gannoruwa Forest Reserve, near Peradeniya, Kandy District, 07°16′56.7″N, 80°35′54.0″E, 576 m” by Manamendra-Arachchi, Batuwita & Pethiyagoda (2007: 52).
