- Lectotype: NMV D10156 (old no. 57882), ♂, collected by Horn Expedition Collection in May-August 1894. [designated by Coventry (1970: 117)]
- Type locality: “Charlotte Waters”, Northern Territory, Australia.
- Paralectotype: NMV D10155 (old no. 57883), ♀, same data as for the lectotype.
