- Holotype: MNRJ 26377, adult ♀, collected by Daniel S. Fernandes and Luciana B. Nascimento on 8 November 2004.
- Type locality: “"Fazenda Duas Barras" (near 16°25′0.00′′S, 40°2′60.00′′W, 800 m a.s.l.), a ranch in the district of Talimã, municipality of Santa Maria do Salto, Minas Gerais, Brazil”.
