Hexathele waita Forster, 1968: 152

Type locality: New Zealand, Wellington. Waitatapai Stream, Tararua Ranges, in bank of moss, 2,500 feet.

Holotype: MONZ. female ♀. 20.III.1947. legit L.C. Bell.
