- Holotype: NSMT-P 109034 (formerly BSKU 92004).
- Paratype: ASIZP 63198 (1).
Type locality: Mimase fish market, Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan, 200–300 m depth, offshore trawl.
Etymology: Named for the fish market in Kochi City, Mimase, where the holotype was collected.
