- Typus: U.S.A. North Carolina. Harnett County: 16 miles southwest of Lillington on south side of State Road 27 in Barbeque Creek, 26 January 1992, K.M. Pryer, F.M. Lutzoni and L.E. Anderson 959 (Holotypus: DAO; isotypi: DUKE, OAC, MIL, herb. D.F. Brunton).
