Type locality: Panama (Pacific), east of Isla Raya, 7.39660, -80.29910, 12 m depth.[1]
Etymology: The specific epithet urraca is in reference to the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute’s research vessel the Urraca, which served the institute between 1994–2007.
