- Holotype: FMNH 258134.
- Type locality: “on a tree root projecting from a dirt bank 2 m above a tributary of the Nam Ou River in evergreen forest in Phou Dendin National Biodiversity Conservation Area, Phongsaly District, Phongsaly Province, Laos, 22°5′38″ N, 102°12′50″ E, 600 m elevation”.
