- Syntypes (n=4): BMNH 1946.1.8.54–55, two ♂, collected by E. Belcher between 1843–1847 and BMNH 1946.1.8.56 and BMNH 1946.1.9.88, two ♀, collected by T.S.B. Raffles between 1805–1824.
- Type locality: “Borneo” and “India”.
