- Holotype: SAMA R37403, adult ♀, collected by David Armstrong on 12 November 1990.
- Type locality: “1.5 km NW Rocky River, Flinders Chase National Park, Kangaroo Island, South Australia (35.94°S, 136.73°E)”.
