- Holotype: CAS 223934 (field number AMB 7074), adult ♀, collected by R.A. Sadlier, A.M. Bauer and A.S. Whiting on 29 September 2001.
- Type locality: “Approximately 4.6 km north of Grootbaai, Bloubergstrand on Melkbos Rd, 33°45’02’S, 18°26'34’E”.
