- Holotype: WAM M24543, adult ♂, body in alcohol with skull removed, collected by J.N. Dunlop on 15 August 1982.
- Type locality: “13.2 km and 68° from Bindoon, Western Australia (31°18'15"S, 116°01'00"E) at approximately 150 m above sea level”.
