Solaster notophrynus Downey, 1971
- Type locality: R/V Oregon Station 5929. NE Of Dominica, Martinique Passage. 15°39′N 61°10′W / 15.65°N 61.17°W. Depth 355 fms.
- Holotype: USNM E11383 [1], collected by Bureau of Commercial Fisheries vessel Oregon in March 1966.
