Holotype: LSUHC 11688, adult ♂, collected by Evan S. H. Quah on 26 April 2014.
Type locality: “Gunung Brinchang, Cameron Highlands, Pahang, West Malaysia (04°31.105 N 101°22.571 E; at 1811m)”.
