Holotype: probably lost.

Type locality: “Westindische [=West Indies]”, resticted to “Chichén Itzâ, Yucatán, México”, by Smith & Taylor (1950), and to “Paramaribo, Suriname”, by Hoogmoed (1973: 57,65).
