Name
Thryssocypris smaragdinus Roberts & Kottelat, 1984
- Holotype: MZB 3435.
- Paratypes: CAS 49314 (3, 1 c&s); USNM 230243 (1).
Type locality: Kapuas River, 6 kilometers west of Putussibau, Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia, 0°50.5'N, 112°52'E. [1]
Etymology: From the Greek smaragdinos (= emerald green).
