- Type locality: Jervis Bay, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
- Holotype: AMS I.16892-002. Paratypes: AMS I.16892-002 (1, lost), I.19392-008 (1, lost); CSIRO CA 184 (1); NMNZ P.11630 (7). Type catalog: Hardy 1990:15.
- Etymology: Named after Dr. Jennifer M. E. Anderson, a colleague of Hardy at the University of New South Wales. (Beolens, Watkins & Grayson, 2023)
