žima
Prasuni
Etymology
Possibly from Proto-Nuristani, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *ȷ́ʰarmyám (“building, permanent house”), although *zimi would be expected. A more likely preform would be *čiman- or its oblique *čimn-a-.
Likely related to ižinik (“thread”) (< *ā-čina-ka-, root *či-) in the original sense of "cloth".
