1. (formal, archaic, Katharevousa, only in set phrases) alternative form of ούτως (oútos) (used before a consonant): thus, like this, like that

   Synonym: έτσι (étsi)

Used in the formal expressions:

• και ούτω καθεξής (kai oúto kathexís) / και ούτω καθ΄εξής
• ούτω πως (oúto pos)
