σενδούκη
Ancient Greek
Etymology
According to Beekes, “the formation is Pre-Greek”. But it might be reborrowing from an Oriental source like Aramaic צנדוקא (ṣəndūqā) of σῠνθήκη (sŭnthḗkē). Also in the form σάνδυξ (sándux).
