Usage notes

  • The historical plural form of the word is олма, and like other words ending with -нч, the plural form can be used as alternative singular (eg. То̄нн ля̄к шӣг олма (= олмэнч) ‘You are a good person’)
  • It's unclear where does the plural form (and therefore form of the stem) о̄ллмэ comes from. The "historical" plural form олма nowadays seems to be used exclusively as a plural nominative.
