     Kogdá Moskvá svéšivalasʹ iz svojevó okná v večerá odinóčestva, jej kričáli snízu privétstvija proxóžije ljúdi, jejó zváli kudá-to v óbščij létnij súmrak, obeščáli pokazátʹ vse attrakcióny párka kulʹtúry i ótdyxa i kupítʹ cvetóv i slívočnyx tjanúček.

     When Moscow hung out of her window during these evenings of solitude, passers-by would shout out greetings to her from down below, calling her to come and share the summer dusk with them, promising to show her the attractions of the Park of Culture and Rest and to buy her flowers and toffee creams.
