Usage notes

Culturally corresponding to English merry Christmas as most common greeting in the end of the year. с Рождеством Христовым (s Roždestvom Xristovym, merry Christmas) is less used, but common among Christians (especially in January, when the Russian Orthodox Christmas is celebrated).
